🎓 Lecturer (m/f/d) – Tax Law 📍 Berlin
We are looking for a lecturer for our module Tax Law within our bachelors programme in Business Administration – someone who not only commands German tax law in depth, but who brings it to life in a global context and equips students to think about taxation across borders.
Your tasks
Design and deliver courses covering the fundamentals of the German tax system and the economic analysis of tax regulations; Embed national tax rules in international frameworks; Teach the decision-making implications of taxation at the corporate level – domestically and cross-border; Encourage students analytical and critical reflection on tax law in comparative international perspective; Supervise transfer papers and written exams; contribute to curriculum development.
Your Profile
Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Tax Law, Business Administration, Commercial Law, or a related field; Solid, in-depth knowledge of German tax law; Demonstrable expertise in international taxation: transfer pricing, cross-border corporate taxation, international compliance standards; Professional experience in tax advisory, auditing, or a multinational corporation is a strong advantage; Enthusiasm for innovative teaching formats – seminars, webinars, e-learning; Excellent command of English (instruction is conducted in English).

Wir suchen eine Lehrpersönlichkeit für unser Modul Tax Law im Bachelor-Studiengang Business Administration – jemanden, der nicht nur das deutsche Steuerrecht beherrscht, sondern es in einen globalen Kontext einbettet und Studierende befähigt, steuerliche Entscheidungen international zu denken.
Ihre Aufgaben
Konzeption und Durchführung von Lehrveranstaltungen zu den Grundlagen des deutschen Steuersystems sowie zur ökonomischen Analyse von Steuernormen; Einbettung nationaler Steuerregelungen in internationale Kontexte; Vermittlung steuerlicher Entscheidungswirkungen auf Unternehmensebene – national wie grenzüberschreitend; Förderung analytischer und kritischer Reflexion von Steuerrechtsregeln im internationalen Vergleich; Betreuung von Transferarbeiten und Klausuren; Mitgestaltung des Curriculums.
Ihr Profil
Abgeschlossenes Hochschulstudium (oder vergleichbare Qualifikation) in Steuerrecht, Betriebswirtschaft, Wirtschaftsrecht oder verwandten Disziplinen; Fundierte Kenntnisse des deutschen Steuerrechts; Nachweisliche Expertise im internationalen Steuerrecht: Transferpreise, grenzüberschreitende Unternehmensbesteuerung, internationale Compliance-Standards; Praxiserfahrung in Steuerberatung, Wirtschaftsprüfung oder einem multinationalen Unternehmen ist ein klares Plus; Begeisterung für didaktische Innovation – Seminar, Webinar, E-Learning; Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse (Lehre erfolgt auf Englisch).
